Establishment of the company 'Rolf Welker Kunststoffe' in taking over a 2-man-plastic processing company in Horb, Germany. Supplied to the following industries: Automotive, furniture and machine building.
Diversification by implementation of an extrusion process. Expanding the customer range with manufacturers of wheels and castors, building and electrical industries as well as producers of fitness and gym equipment.
Majority shareholding of the biggest customer, Blickle Räder+Rollen GmbH u. Co. KG. Establishment of the company BW-Plast GmbH which becomes a member of the Blickle group (www.blickle.com). Relocation to a 5.600 m² modern factory building in Rosenfeld next to the holding company Blickle in November 2006.
Major investments in state-of-the-art machineries. As a first step 12 machines with a clamping force up to 8000 kN were purchased, a big central material supply system (incl. drying) and a new cooling system with heat recovery were installed.
New investments in 16 machines. The number of employees has increased to more than 30.
